Freedom Riders is Non-profit adaptive riding program in Chico Ca.
We provide horses as a healing therapy to help individuals with different physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges.
We believe that horses have the power to change lives for the better.
We have seen many great transformations over the years working with horses and people, it has been so inspiring that we decided to put together a program that we feel our area needs.
Every day we see amazing things from this program, like tense legs that become more fluid; cramped muscles starting to relax; slumped postures straightening; and non verbal children who have never spoken before start speaking.
The love and compassion horses bring to our clients is contagious and life-changing for everyone involved!
We know that together, with all the strengths and weaknesses of each individual, we are better able to face the challenges that every person must encounter in life.
We are dedicated to creating a safe place for people to challenge themselves and learn from others.
We are committed to uplifting all who come into contact with our organization and remembering to meet every adversity with a sense of curiosity and hope.
We believe that as providers we are only a companion on each individual's separate journey toward reaching their absolute potential as a person.
Each of us at Freedom Riders feels tremendously blessed to be able to share the hardships and triumphs of our friend's journeys!
